Spotlight Recipe![]() Sam Elliot's Breakfast BurritosBreakfast Burritos 4 cups frozen shredded hashbrowns Cook hashbrowns and sausages. Combine eggs, green chiles, salt and pepper, and cooked sausage pieces and cook until scrambled. To assemble burritos, place some hashbrowns down the center of each tortilla. Top with cheese and egg mixture. Roll each tortilla up tightly and serve hot. Actor Sam Elliot was born on August 9, 1944, in Sacramento, CA. He graduated from David Douglas High School in Oregon in 1962 and attended college a few years before moving to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He worked in construction while studying acting and served in the California Air National Guard. One of his early film roles was in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in 1969. He married actress Katharine Rose in 1984. Elliot has appeared in various westerns, television roles, and movies over the years and has performed voice-over narration for multiple commercials.
